Situated midway between the Southern and the Northern Flinders Ranges, Catninga provides an opportunity to access the world acclaimed Heysen Trail, which also leads hikers into the Mount Brown National Park. All accessible from the Catninga Hut.
You can take the Peter Goode Gully walk from Catninga Homestead to the Heysen Trail, and then up to the summit of Mt Brown – the tops of the Mountains are at your feet!
Take friends and spend a night at Catninga Hut, or just head out for the day.

Access is for guests at Catninga, making it a true opportunity to take a secluded walk into the mountains.
There are many other walking, mountain biking & 4x4 tracks at Catninga, so every time you come back there will be a new track for you to experience.
